Brandon Lake
Brandon Lake is a Dove Award-winning and Grammy-nominated songwriter and worship leader with the Bethel Music collective. Lake has drawn accolades for his collaborations with fellow Bethel artists Matt Redman, Elevation Worship, Passion, and Housefires as well as for his 2016 solo debut, Closer, and subsequent Bethel-issued singles such as “This Is a Move” and “I Need a Ghost.”
A worship pastor at Seacoast Church in South Carolina, Lake released his debut single, “Run to You,” in early 2016, which appeared on his first full-length outing, Closer. He issued the single “Pour Me Out” in 2018, and in 2019, he joined Bethel Music and released the stirring “This Is a Move,” which was co-written with Grammy-winning gospel singer Tasha Coobs Leonard and took home the Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year trophy at the 2019 Dove Awards. Three more singles — the bluesy “I Need a Ghost,” the worship ballad “Just Like Heaven,” and the rousing “House of Miracles” — appeared in 2020.
